Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the Save Time And Relax services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Save Time And Relax Ltd. By booking a housekeeper through our agency, or applying to work as a housekeeper, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Non-Poaching & Private Hire Agreement

CRITICAL: As a client of Save Time And Relax Ltd, you are strictly prohibited from offering direct employment or private work to any housekeeper introduced to you by our agency.

This non-poaching agreement remains in full effect for a period of 24 months following the termination of your agency services. Any breach of this clause will result in a substantial introduction fee and potential legal action to recover lost agency revenue.

3. Payments and Rates

The total rate for regular domestic cleaning is £20.00 per hour (minimum 2 hours per visit). Payment is split as follows:

  • Agency Management Fee (£5.00/hr): Billed automatically via GoCardless Direct Debit. This fee covers agency administration, replacement cover arrangements, and public liability insurance.
  • Housekeeper Fee (£15.00/hr): Paid directly to the housekeeper in cash on the day of each completed clean.

4. Cleaning Products and Equipment

To enable your housekeeper to deliver optimum cleaning results and maintain high hygiene standards across your home, the client agrees to supply safe, suitable, and fully functional equipment and products. Essential items include:

  • Suitable surface cleaning sprays and detergents suited to your home's finishes.
  • Clean microfibre cloths and non-abrasive sponges.
  • A reliable, fully working vacuum cleaner.
  • A proper mop and bucket suitable for hard floor areas (wipes or makeshift paper products are not suitable for full floor cleaning).

Providing suitable, working tools ensures your housekeeper can work efficiently and comfortably while protecting your home surfaces. The agency takes no responsibility for poor cleaning outcomes or damage resulting from faulty or inadequate client-provided equipment.

5. Insurance and Liability

All our housekeepers are covered for public liability and personal injury while in your home. The policy covers activities inside your home. Certain bleach-based products and deep/specialised cleaning of delicate items are not covered.

6. Cancellations

An initial 13-week minimum term applies. After this period, clients may cancel the service at any time by providing 4 weeks' notice in writing to the agency.
